We are a voluntary Partnership, supported by local Social Care Employers, Wiltshire
Council, Swindon Borough Councils and Skills for Care (South West).
Our purpose is to support the learning and development of the social care workforce
in Wiltshire and Swindon. Our area supports the independent, voluntary and private
social care sector..
We currently support the workforce with two types of funding.
- Contributory Grant - provide by the Partnership, sourced from both Local Authorities,
aimed at supporting the mandatory learning and development
- Skills for Care Funding - Workforce Development Funds (WDF) Available if your
NMDS-SC registration is up-to-date and compliant.
- This funding supports Apprenticeships and funded QCF / NVQ units.
Welcome to Learning and Development for the independent, voluntary and
private care sector (IVP) in Wiltshire and Swindon.
Latest News: Skills for Care have extended the NVQ deadline.
Make sure you update your NMDS-SC to remain eligible for any units your employee
has completed.
